The place was really nice. Had my favorite colors. The owner was really sweet like her cakes. I had the honey bun good until the last crumb. Would definitely try again.
The desserts are absolutely amazing but I wanna talk about the manager Kiesha. She’s so sweet and kind. We wanted her pound cake for our wedding cake. She made us a 10inch and 6 inch pound cake. We were suppose to put the order in Wednesday but I didn’t get paid till Thursday but she still made the cakes for me and even offered to put icing on it for slight decorations. Customer service was exceptional.
Absolutely loved the service and the cake flight! Every flavor was delicious, beautifully presented, and worth every bite. The staff made the whole experience even better with how welcoming and attentive they were. Already planning my next visit!
Run, don't walk to get these delicious cakes! This was our first time in and were immediately greeted by Ms. Kesha. This beautiful lady is doing her thing and doing it very well! We ordered a flight with churro, oreo, butter, and strawberry crunch.. I thought my favorite would be the butter or oreo, but the strawberry 🍓 was amazing!!
Owner is always there when I go and she is such a nice and welcoming lady. She suggested the strawberry cheesecake pound cake and I could barely make it home eating it. So moist, flavorful and tasty 😋
Beautiful shop (I love the decor 😍), the food is absolutely amazing, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and we got to meet and talk to the chef/owner!!!!! Will be back to taste everything she's got to to offer 😊
If you have not tried the deep fried double double butter, you are missing out on heaven on a plate! Idk what’s in that cake batter but honey, they got it! The atmosphere and decors is impeccable and the service is outstanding!!! Tell Kesha, Ashley set you.
My daughter and I visited the store today and firstly I loved the decor. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by everyone including the owner. Very friendly and inviting and because of all the delicious varieties they quickly offered samples to taste! Everything was amazing and I can’t wait to go back!
This is such a cute place with delicious pound cake! Prior to moving to Chicago, I followed the social media page and wanted to try it. I got to and I’ve been a fan ever since! Cakes made with love, nice size slices and great variety of flavors! My Husband loves the double butter pound cake. I do as well but they have weekly speciality flavors like peach cobbler pound cake or black velvet pound cake which was yummy! Support local businesses!

Her staff was warm and inviting, and the entire atmosphere felt welcoming from start to finish. And the desserts? Absolutely phenomenal. The pound cake was next-level amazing, and the ice cream was delicious, truly to die for! Not only were the people warm and inviting, but the cakes were unforgettable. Highly recommend That’s a Cake, you will not be disappointed!
